Ok. Before we even start comparing LeBron to MJ. Is he even better than Bird? He and Bird played the same position so it’s and even more of an apples to apples comparison. Look at the numbers and you decide. LeBron had a great year this year,

LEBRON AVG’D:

26.7 POINTS, 7.5 REBOUNDS, 7.0 ASSISTS, 1.6 STEALS, & 0.6 BLOCKS PER GAME WHILE SHOOTING 51% FROM THE FIELD, 33% FROM THE 3, & 76% FROM THE LINE.

IN ‘85 BIRD AVG’D:

28.7 POINTS, 10.5 REBOUNDS, 6.6 ASSISTS, 1.6 STEALS, & 1.2 BLOCKS PER GAME WHILE SHOOTING 52% FROM THE FIELD, 43% FROM THE 3, & 88% FROM THE LINE.

AND BY THIS TIME BIRD HAD A COUPLE RINGS AND A FINALS MVP IN TOW.

ALL THIS FROM SOMEONE WHO PLAYED IN A MUCH TOUGHER ERA (DEFENDERS COULD ACTUALLY LEGALLY HAND-CHECK), AND THAT LACKED THE SPEED, STRENGTH, AND JUMPING ABILITY THAT LBJ WAS GIFTED WITH. LET’S NOT FORGET HE CONSISTENTLY TORCHED ATHLETES LIKE DOMINIQUE WILKINS AND (A YOUNG) DENNIS RODMAN.

NOW HOW CAN ANYONE SAY HE’S BETTER THAN BIRD, LET ALONE MIKE?????
